Laser skin resurfacing cost?

I have several scars from chickenpox back on my forehead my dermatologist said could be removed by a plastic surgeon with Laser Skin Resurfacing. Does anyone know how this procedure usually cost? He also mentioned a technique where the scars are cut and form a scar less visible not intended to replace. Do you know anything at this subject and how much it costs? Thank you!
